Summary/Objective:

As a Qellus Senior Account Manager focused on OpenText services, you’ll lead strategic client relationships, driving growth in enterprise accounts through tailored OpenText solutions (e.g., Enterprise Content Management) for clients in financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing. You’ll manage a high-value portfolio of 10–15 key accounts, targeting annual revenue goals of $2.5M+, while mentoring junior team members and collaborating with Qellus’ technical and delivery teams to ensure exceptional service delivery. This fully remote role offers opportunities to shape client success and advance into leadership positions within Qellus’ global sales organization.

Essential Functions

Strategic Advising: Collaborate with clients to align OpenText solutions (e.g., Content Suite, Documentum, Extended ECM) with their business objectives, providing expert guidance on implementation and optimization.
Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for OpenText-related services.
Upsell and Cross-Sell: Identify opportunities to expand client engagements by promoting additional OpenText products, modules, or consulting services that enhance client workflows.
Customer Satisfaction: Proactively monitor client satisfaction, resolve issues related to OpenText deployments, and ensure a seamless client experience.
Quarterly Business Reviews: Lead QBRs to assess OpenText solution performance, review client goals, and strategize future enhancements or upgrades.
Manage RFx Response and Submission: For assigned accounts, oversee the preparation and submission of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other RFx processes, ensuring high-quality, OpenText-focused proposals are delivered on time.

Education and Experience

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Required Experience:

10+ years in B2B sales or account management, with at least 5 years in IT consulting, managed services, or enterprise software, ideally with OpenText or similar platforms (e.g., Extended ECM, Documentum).
Proven track record managing complex sales cycles and high-value accounts, from lead generation to contract closure.

Required Skills:

Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets ($2.5M+ annually).
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for engaging C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot) and strategic sales forecasting.
Experience thriving in a remote environment, leveraging tools like Teams for client and team collaboration.
Strategic, consultative approach with strong problem-solving skills for technology-driven solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Location and Work Arrangement:

This is a 100% remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere in the U.S. or Canada. The position may require up to 25% travel for quarterly customer Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and 1–2 annual industry conferences.

Compensation:

Competitive base salary ($160,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and location) plus uncapped commission.
Commission Structure: Commission is 3% for revenue on services and 6% for revenue on product license sales on revenue growth above target for assigned account list.
